Prayer
We speak this wisdom in a mystery. We speak this wisdom in unknown tongues. When we pray in the Holy Ghost, we are praying out the mystery of the will of God. All of a sudden, your conscious mind will come to acknowledgment of certain truths that were not premediated. You prayed them out in the Holy Ghost. Go ahead and pray in the Holy Ghost.
Lift your right hand and make this declaration, Heavenly Father, I am filled to the overflowing of the Spirit of wisdom. I download witty inventions, I receive cutting edge ideas, new products and services by the Spirit of God that sets me apart and distinguishes me in the name of Jesus. My eyes are anointed to see, my heart is anointed to receive divine ideas and witty inventions in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare I am not just a consumer, I am a producer in the name of Jesus. This is available unto me by the Spirit of wisdom. Spirit of the Lord breath upon my heart.
Sermon
Mathew 12:42, Luke 11:31. Jesus made that statement, a greater than Solomon is here. We examined yesterday the pillars that Solomon created to bring the channels of wealth that he had. 1 Kings 4.29 30,31, 32. The bible says God gave Solomon wisdom, understanding and largeness of heart as the sand of the seashore. Job explains how this happens in Job 32:8. There is a Spirit in man and the breath of the Almighty giveth him understanding. You are able to see the reality beyond that which the eyes can see. At that moment and in that instance, you suddenly come to an awareness and an understanding of something that is not readily available. As a child of God, this is what is available to us. There are inventions and innovations that didn’t start from the laboratory. There came from men who downloaded them from heaven. I will give you a few of them.
How many people know the periodic table, a man called Dmitri Mendeleev founded this through a dream he had in the night. It is time to have profitable dreams in the night. I mentioned about the Benzin molecule and how it was a major problem to solve at the time. It was a man by name of Frederick Avon Kekule, who was able to solve this through a dream he had about a snake catching its own tail. I talked about Insulin. The founder Frederick Banting had a dream and from the dream he knew how to isolate insulin and use it to help mankind.
My prayer for you is that long after you go, your works will still speak for you. The God who did it for them, will do it for you.
5 things you should do to put yourself in that frame:
1. Capturing the inner image that you are blessed to be a blessing. If your mind is only about receiving a blessing and waiting on God, then this wisdom is not for you. Everybody is made unique by God and has a specific assignment. The saying that God replaces people is not true. He only adds another man’s assignment to a person.
2. Your heart must be postured to serve. Solomon asked God to grant him wisdom for the people. The business that every believer gets is never first and foremost for profit. At the core of what you’re doing, there must be an awareness that the priority must be for service. Profitability is important and must be defined but it is not at the core. You define a business not by the profitability it can offer, but by the service it can render. The kingdom idea at the core of it is an idea to make the lives of people better. This was the prayer of George Washington Carver.
3. A dissatisfaction with the status quo. You must get to the point where you are completely dissatisfied with where you are. You realise there is more and things can be better than they are.
4. The prayers of enquiry. This is where you ask God to show me how. I told you a story this morning about two lady friends who attended the same church and came to a point in their lives where they faced great financial difficulty. One of the ladies came up with an idea to pray Proverbs 8.12 and so they began to pray. One day, during the praise and worship, in an instant she saw the recipe for a sugar free candy that is good for the teeth. They started producing and selling these products and within 2 years they sold thousands of dollars’ worth.
Let me tell you something about George Washington Carver, he wrote that he went in his library and said, dear Mr Creator, please tell me what the universe is made for. The Creator answered and said, you want to know too much with that little mind of yours. Ask something more your size. Then I asked, dear Mr Creator, tell me what man was made for. then The Creator replied, little man you are asking too much, cut down the extent of your request and improve the intent. So, I asked please Mr Creator, can you tell me why the peanut was made? The Creator said that’s better, but even that is infinite. What do you want to know about the peanut. Carver then said, can you make milk out of the peanut? Then the Lord asked what kind of milk do you want. This was a man’s personal conversation with the Lord. This is how we should be praying. Then the Great Creator showed me how to make this out of the peanut. God taught Carver how to dig deeper in prayer. This is the prayer of enquiry. These things are examples to us and are available to us.
5. The informed mind. When the spirit of the Lord breathes upon your heart and gives you the wisdom, you need to have an informed mind to process and interpret it correctly.
Prayer
Be very specific about the area you are praying about and say Lord show me. There are innovative strategies hanging over your head, there are wild ideas hanging over your head. Holy Spirit of the living God, blow upon our hearts and give us eureka moments in the name of Jesus. Shout it out, say Heavenly father, I call upon You in accordance to Your word, show me great and mighty things that I did not study, that I didn’t read about. Lord show me. Spirit of the Lord, we thank You for all You have started in our lives. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
